National Drug Law Enforcement Agency
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of Sierra Leone (NDLEA-SL) is the primary law enforcement body responsible for tackling drug abuse and illicit drug trafficking in the country. It functions under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and has recently become a key pillar in national security efforts against narcotics.
Our Vision: Making Sierra Leone a Healthy and Wealthy Nation free from the harm caused by substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking.
Our Mission: To coordinate a national, sub-regional, regional and international multi-agency strategy to increase public awareness, education, research, reatment, rehabilitation and enforcement in the control of substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking in Sierra Leone.
